Per the awesome folks at DNJ Components:

DNJ has redesigned the pump plate to correct and improve some lube problems that some of the OEM plates faced. This one plate, that fits all 45/545RFE and first design 68RFE transmissions, makes it possible to replace the pump plate.  Previously a complete new pump was the only way to get a replacement plate.
