Update 8/27/23

This firmware (6.46) will not sync correctly with:

 iphone 14 (pro,+)

iphone 8 (pro,+)

iphone SE

iphone 12

It's looking like this firmware isn't compatible with iphones :(

Purchase a device from my other listings (6.60 or 6.64)

These are tested/works with a google Pixel 7 and Pixel 3

So far, it works with most Pixel (android) phones.

REWARD to anyone that can find a workaround

to this firmware issue!!

The anser may lie in the device that is used to update.

I'd like to try updating from other Android phones or tablets.

Specifically a Galaxy tab 3 Pro

The device you receive will be locked on firmware 6.46 . 

You are welcome to try updating but don't be surprised if it fails. 

This may or may not be an issue for you.  It depends on the phone you are using.  

I know it works with Google Pixel phones.

When in doubt, buy from one of my other listings.  

Those will be on firmware 6.60 or 6.64 which have not had any compatibility issues thus far.

Why is Fitbit preventing us from updating?  I don't know, unfortunately.

If you decide to buy from another seller, insure the battery holds a charge and that the firmware is

at least 6.46 or newer. (ie 6.60 & 6.64) 

Anything older will not pair or sync correctly.

Fitbits are listed everyday by sellers who are careless or clueless

of the battery and firmware issues. 

Ensure that they test before buying.

The vast majority are defective!
