Description

Beautiful Handpainted Floral Charger Plate

Marked on bottom, " Haviland France," also marked on bottom, handpainted are the letters, "E.P.G.~with added art work(flowers at the tail of the letters)" ~don't know if this is the artist initials?, It is painted in different colors and looks similar to the garland the angel is holding, so would imagine they are the initials of whom painted the angel on the front of the plate.
.
Measures aprox. 12 1/2 inches diameter x 1 1/2 inches tall.

Beautiful Charger Plate comes to you in good used condition. I can find no major flaws to mention. Maybe a little, light miminal scratching to the surface of the plate. Very unique in design with the Angel added to the plate. As far as I can tell, I do think the angel was done prior to the final firing process, so I do think it's original to the plate and not added at a later date. The angel is nicely detailed, especially her face, garland she's holding and notice her little bag of arrows. SO Cute!  Would make a nice addition to your collections or decor!

Comments or questions are always Welcomed and    we Thank~You for your interest. ~Carol :)
