Im Vergleich zu LAYWOOD hat LAYWOOD-FLEX zwar eine geringere Zugfestigkeit ist dafür aber wesentlich elastischer. Die Elastizität der gedruckten Objekte erhöht sich bei höherer Drucktemperatur, d.h. dunklere Schichten sind flexibler als helle.

  •  drucke holz-ähnliche Objekte mit Jahresringen / hell-dunkel Effekt
  • minimaler bis kein Warping-Effekt
  • Drucktemperatur: 185°C (hell) bis 255°C (dunkel)
  • Druckplattform: 20°C
  • drucke langsam (Druckkopfgeschwindigkeit) und der Hell-Dunkel-Effekt erscheint eindrucksvoll
  • durch die Material-Mengen-Einstellung (Flow) kann die Rauhheit variiert werden
  • das gedruckte Objekt wirkt wie aufgerauhtes MDF
  • es ist schleifbar, mit Bienenwachs polierbar
  • drucken Sie in Räumen mit mehr als 19°C, das Filament ist dann biegbarer!!!


Although LAYWOOD-FLEX has a lower tensile strength compared to LAYWOOD it has a far higher degree of elasticity. Elasticity will be higher on darker layers.


  • print look-alike wood objects
  • no or minimal warp
  • with Annual-Rings printing-temperature:
    185°C = bright colour,
    255°C = dark wooden effects
  • heated bed: 20°C
  • print slowly and the bright/dark effect is impressing
  • by setting the flow you can vary the raughness
  • the printed object will appear rough, similar to MDF
  • it is grindable, polishable with beeswax
  • Print in rooms with more than 19°C, the filament will be more bendable!!!
