Dog bone loops are commonly used as a snap shackle, knot or D-shackle replacement on halyards and sheets, but can be used for a range of handy tasks around the boat. 

Dog Bone Loops require no tools to attach and are extremely easy to undo, even after being highly loaded. 

Dog Bone Loops have very high working loads at a fraction of the weight and cost compared to an equivalent strength stainless steel fitting. 

Dog Bone Loops may be used for block attachment, halyard attachment, sheet attachment, hanks, and so forth - any purpose where a knot or a heavy stainless fitting is used can be replaced with an appropriately sized loop.

Wet Tech Rigging's covered model takes Dog Bone Loops to another level of strength, longevity, reliability and performance - covered tip to toe in 52-carrier Dyneema Chafe sleeving for ultimate abrasion and UV resistance.

Note: A factor of safety of 2.5 has been added to the break strength of the component to gain each respective Safe Working Load. If using in a commercial application it is recommended this safety factor is increased to minimum 6.0. "Coupled Length" refers to the stretched length of the loop, coupled up as it would sit under load. The "Leg Diameter" refers to the diameter of the strop forming the dog bone loop.
