Vintage Blue Ridge Pottery Hammered Aluminum Basket Red Flower Green Trim Bowl
Vintage Blue Ridge Southern Potteries bowl in embossed hammered aluminum basket frame. Hand painted red flower with green leaves on bowl. Hammered aluminum basket is embossed with roses and leaves. Both bowl and basket frame are unmarked. In very good vintage condition with no chips, flakes, or cracks! There is no back stamp on these smaller pieces. Pattern dates from about 1947.
Measures 7" across and 6" high.
Made by Blue Ridge, Southern Potteries which was manufactured from the 1930s - 1957. They were well known for their underglaze decoration and colorful patterns. The underglaze made the decorations more durable and the hand-painted designs mean that no two pieces will be exactly alike!
