You are bidding for a list of  video records of the long discarded 16mm films described. When each  film was made it provided a unique insight into its particular subject. Over the last forty years a number of enthusiasts realized that such films provided an untapped source of information on past techniques and methods At some time in the past it would have been rescued after being discarded as obsolete by the original owners .

Any money raised from the sale of this listing will go towards offsetting the costs of more rescues.

     Did you know that you can now access many old films that show construction  plant  when it was   new? Not all films that were professionally made were shown in cinemas.  All sorts of enterprises commissioned films for all sorts of purposes. Although they have long ceased to be relevant to today's  enterprise  survivors  provide a unique and fascinating insight as to how things were.

 

      Over the last 40 years we have been collecting  these old films that would otherwise have long since been destroyed.  Amongst these films there could well be  one or more films that are particularly important to you and your family. Only you will know which films it will be.

 

    A Film showing the work  lives of your parents or even your grandparents. You probably have very little idea of what they did  and they will be thrilled  to see how they used to make a living.

Some  are already listed for sale  and if you use the a word or two of the description to search you will normally come up with one you want.

To summarise the policy the majority of films are feature some sort of fuel tank, and are unlikely to feature actors you are familiar with. Of course there are exceptions.
