First of all, I bought this at an auction of surplus school instruments, as a lot of items. All were sold as functional but I don't know how to test it. Has tarnish on it, looks to be 30+ years old? Cosmetically, it is about 6.5 out of 10 overall.

Good quality, looks well used.

Selling this strictly as is, I do not know much about it.
