Very Unique and Unusual!
This Vintage or Antique Etched Copper Brass Tray or Platter is an amazing piece of Middle Eastern Art.
It can be used as a top for a Tea Table or hung on a wall to display it as an Art Medallion or Mandala Shield. Research shows it can be set upon the top of folding table legs that are made especially for these types of trays. They can be found on several online stores.
The etched designs are intricately hand engraved into the surface. Large in size and well made. This handsome art piece has black lettering and scrolled Arabic characters. Enameled painted areas are in matte black, green, and white along with metallic copper, silver, and gold. Back side has hook and loop mount for hanging. .
Origins: Research found various descriptions about similar trays. Some say: Ottoman, Persian, Arabic, Islamic, Moroccan, Syrian, Mayan, Egyptian, and Middle Eastern. The lettering appears to be Arabic but we can not confirm its origins nor translate the content.

Large and heavy. Measures about 20" across in diameter.

CONDITION:
In very good condition. Has few minor imperfections as shown but they do not detract from the beauty of this amazing piece. Back has stains and scuffs as shown in photos.

RETURNS:
We do not accept returns because our items are fragile, antique, vintage, original, 1st edition, rare/one of a kind. If not properly rewrapped and reboxed, they can break on their return. If this happened, the buyer would be responsible to file an insurance claim with the carrier for the damaged item to get reimbursed. The seller would no longer be legally responsible. If you believe that we made an error, send us a message. We will investigate it and offer a solution. If we incorrectly described an item or unintentionally did not show a major flaw in our photos, we will apologize and offer either a return label for a refund or a discount. Requests must sent within 14 DAYS of DELIVERY DATE. AFTER 14 days, they will not be honored.
When consumers buy goods in person, they can inspect the goods at the point of sale. DAMAGED DELIVERY:
Contact us as soon as possible. Take at least 5 CLEAR, close-up photos showing damage to the item, damage to the shipping box, the shipping label, and the packing materials. According to the carriers policies, either party can submit an insurance claim. We will handle it for you if you send us the required photos. Carriers also require that you SAVE and HOLD the damaged item with ALL of the packing and the shipping box until they process the claim. Once approved, we'll let you know when it's okay to dispose of the broken item. Carriers may request to inspect the damaged item before reimbursement. If they ask to review it, you will be asked to bring the damaged item original shipping box with the packing to your local post office. To avoid misdirection and another loss, please write the following on top of box:
