BMW, MINI ELV (Steering Lock) delete service for the following years / models / series: all BMW E - Series and Mini R55, R56 cars with ELV (Steering Lock). This, ELV (Steering Lock) delete delete service will delete the ELV function in the CAS2 or CAS3 making it functional without ELV input. All codes and counters cleared. The CAS will be Plug n' Drive and will require no additional programming. Old keys will work. Simply install the CAS and start the car.
NOTE! The software can be updated with ISTA in the future. CAS, FRM, DME (any module). There will be NO ISSUES caused by ELV software programmed back into CAS.
ELV system was used on E81, E82, E87, E90, E91, E92, E93, E60, E61, E63 and E64 and Mini R55, R56. It often fails, common issues are: fault codes A0AA Control Unit Fault, A116 Critical Status Electronic Steering Lock, A112, A11A, A11E, ELV fault, A119 power supply electronic steering lock in the CAS (Car Access System), yellow or red steering lock light, steering lock faulty message on dash / instrument cluster, no start, no ignition, no key ON.
