2 illustrated articles from a rare 1896 Victorian periodical - the first article is entitled "How Weather Forecasts are Prepared" 6 pages by George F Millin Illustrated by T Noyes Lewis and from photographs by Russell Illustrations include The Clerk of the Weather Mr R H Scott (Secretary of the Royal Meteorological Society) at his desk The Hydrographic room of Royal Meteorological Society Very interesting old article full of information on the Society The second article is entitled "The disadvantages of Civilisation" 5 pages by Charlotte O'Connor Eccles with illustrations by Will Owen Please note these are genuine actual pages extracted from a rare disbound Victorian publication, there are no covers and there may be extracts from other articles at the start or end.
