This bowl was custom embossed by a silversmith named Edmund Kavanagh.

He is a master craftsman repousse chaser.

Hand Chased Embossing is time intensive and almost a lost art.

This is a very unusual piece in this pattern and probably one of the

 prettiest pieces you will find!
