The USRP1 is the original Universal Software Radio Peripheralâ„¢ hardware (USRP) that provides entry-level RF processing capability. It is intended to provide software defined radio development capability for cost-sensitive users and applications. The architecture includes an Altera Cyclone FPGA, 64 MS/s dual ADC, 128 MS/s dual DAC and USB 2.0 connectivity to provide data to host processors. A modular design allows the USRP1 to operate from DC to 6 GHz. The USRP1 platform can support two complete RF daughterboards. This feature makes the USRP ideal for applications requiring high isolation between transmit and receive chains, or dual-band dual transmit/receive operation. The USRP1 can stream up to 8 MS/s to and from host applications, and users can implement custom functions in the FPGA fabric.

The RFX900 (or 1800) Daughterboard included:
  • RFX900 (or RFX1800) Daughterboard x 2
  • SMA-Bulkhead Cables x 4 (or x 2)

This high performance 900 / 1800 MHz omnidirectional "rubber-duck" antenna provides broad coverage and 3 dBi gain. It is a coaxial sleeve design with an omni-directional pattern. It is ideally suited for 900MHz ISM band applications as well as cellular applications.
Measuring 8" long, this flexible antenna features a tilt-and-swivel SMA-Male connector, allowing them to be used vertically, at a right angle, or any angle in-between. It is suitable as a replacement RF antenna for 900 MHz radios that are equipped with SMA-Male connectors such as wireless video transmitters and receivers, 900 MHz digital spread spectrum radios and more.

The RFX900 (or RFX1800) is a high-performance transceiver designed specifically for operation in the 900 (or 1800) MHz band. With a typical power output of 200 mW, and noise figure of 8 dB. Jumper settings can bypass an on-board SAW filter to allow operation in a wider frequency range. Example application areas include cellular, paging, two-way radio and 902-928 (or 1500-2100) MHz ISM band.

900 / 1800 MHz 3dBi Rubber Duck Antenna - SMA Male Connector included:
