Why Cloth?

  • Currently there are no government controls on disposable manufacture of nappies, nor on labeling requirements. Disposable nappies are made up of plastics, polyethylene and polypropylene, wood pulp and sodium polyacrylate crystals,all of which contain bleaches, synthetic fragrances, toxic acids, dyes and lotions

                Why Bamboo? 

                • Bamboo grass grows fast in wild using only rainfall. It is GREEN FIBER (when processed and certified appropriately)
                • Bamboo fabric is 4 times more and quicker absorbent than Cotton giving high absorbency with less layers creating non-bulky nappy. 3 layers of Bamboo equal the absorbency of 12 layers of Cotton. 
                • Anti-bacterial, odour-resistant, moisture-wicking and cooling, - doesn't overheat nappy area (concern with boys), protects from rash, making it the ideal cloth nappy fabric.
