INCREDIBLE 30’S SAVILE ROW QUALITY FRENCH WHITE TIE TAILS - FULL DRESS 3PCS SUIT

Here for sale is an wonderful three-pieces very formal suit in EXTREMLY WELL PRESERVED CONDITIONS dating back to the end of 1930’s composed by tailcoat, fishtail back trousers with deep pleats and white cotton waistcoat. There is a tailoring label reporting “John Baillie & Co Paris” and a customer label reporting “J.L.FESTAL” dated January 1938 inside a breast pocket. (see pictures)

Quality manufacture for this garment is outstanding: the whole tailcoat is pure silk-lined with some quilted armholes and there are some hidden pockets in the tails;

the trousers have an adjustable belt and suspenders buttons; the waistcoat is double breasted, made from striped cotton and has a very iconic triangular shape with mother of pearl buttons.

Measurements are following:

Tailcoat corresponds approximately to a 40L size

Tailcoat length is 127cm (from neck to bottom of the tails)

Sleeve length is 86cm (from top to the bottom of shoulder)
