To "confirm" a brick:

1. Take out the battery & memory stick.
2. Plug the PSP into a wall outlet.
3. Power on the PSP.
4. Wait for the PSP to turn off on its own (typically 30 seconds - 1 min)

**IF IT NEVER TURNS OFF ON ITS OWN AFTER A BOOT (or the power light doesn't turn on at all), it's more likely a hardware failure on the motherboard, which an unbrick does not fix.**

Having your own Pandora Battery + MMS on-hand is obviously better. This listing was made as a cheap-as-possible solution for people in situations where there's no Pandora Batteries for sale at the time (or are only available for $80+), nor any legit SONY batteries for sale to convert to Pandora Batteries...and also for people who think shipping their PSP is less of a bother than creating their own Pandora Battery/Baryon Sweeper + MMS
