These 3D Puzzles are cut with a precision Laser Cutters.
Removing each sheet, carefully snip each piece according to the easy to follow instructions. Bend, folding, inserting tabs in slots, and twisting or folding tabs to lock pieces into place, you will create amazingly detailed 3D metal puzzles.
With every 2 or more 3D puzzles purchased we will supply 1 pair of Pliers/snips for FREE. Or you can purchase the pliers/snips for $5.00.
The Pliers/Snips are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
12 designs of puzzles - each requiring approximately 1-6 hours to complete. Depending on the skill level and degree of difficulty.
No need for glue, just assemble the model as per the instructions using cutting pliers, plus occasionally tweezers and a round pencil for curved pieces.
Advanced puzzles making 3D models - these are NOT toys.
Recommended for age 14+ (younger children will need adult assistance), or more experienced model builders.

IMPORTANT - if this is your first time constructing 3D puzzles, we recommend you start with an easier one before trying a more difficult one. They take some practise.

If you are inexperienced or impatient you can break tabs or pieces. If you take your time, be careful, relax, pay careful attention to the instructions and enjoy the building process, it is very rewarding to complete these puzzles. Undoing errors can lead to tab/piece breakages.
Each model is made from completely flat laser-etched steel sheets.
To build, snip out the pieces and then bend, fold, and assemble the pieces together using the illustrated instructions as a guide.

They're truly spectacular! Despite their small size, assembling the 3D Metal Models are bursting with detail. No tools, glue, or solder required.
*However, we have found that a pair of pliers or tweezers can make precise assemblies easier. In our experience, it'll take you a few hours to complete each model.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Do the completed models move?
Answer: No, the models are for display purposes. Incidentally, they look great atop a Solar Display.
Question: Exactly how long will they take to build?
Answer: Depending on your model-building skill, it could take you several hours. The models vary in difficulty. If you're looking for something easier, stick to the 1-2-star models above.
Question: What is the recommended age?
Answer: The manufacturer recommends solo builders be ages 14+. However, younger children could build these models with adult assistance
Q: What's the best way to break the pieces apart?
A: A small pair of snips or wire cutters worked best when I was building my AT-AT. Some of the pieces are very delicate and should not be pushed out.
Q: I'm younger than 14 years old. Does that effect the model while building?
A: No, but generally speaking, younger children don't have the patience or motor skills that small, precise models require. If you think you can do it, you're certainly welcome to give it a try.
Q: Can you make them without pliers?
A: Not easily. The individual pieces are held together by small metal tabs that need to be bent into position. Fortunately, pliers aren't terribly difficult to find, and we'll send you some snips/pliers with all orders of two or more puzzles.
Q: If you drop a finished model will it break?
A: It's possible. These models were meant to be set on a shelf and admired, not thrown around the room.
Q: How flexible are they?
A: The pieces are fairly flexible, so you'll have to be careful not to bend them too much during assembly.
