This toy was first made in the early 1960's by Blue Box in Hong Kong and was part of a rare box set "Cadillac With Boat And Trailer". Seems that the is in fact based on the 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire.

Towards the end of the Blue Box era, it seems a few of the toys were manufactured in Singapore, and just the Cadillac (no boat) was reissued as a police car as shown.

It is of all plastic construction, with a front wheel friction drive motor.

The motor has sized, the rear bumper is missing, the front bumper is missing, and so is a small piece of the front mud guard on one side. There is a slight crack or scratch on the rear window, and some lite scratches to some of the body work.

Note that the front wheels are very low, but as the front bumper is missing, it can be seen this is correct, and how the toy was constructed. 

Clearly marked Blue Box, Made In Singapore on the underside, even with the faults we believe this to be very rare.

It is 13cm long x 4.75cm wide x 4.15cm high. (5.10" inches long x 2.75" inches wide x 1.6" inches high)
