ROYAL DOULTON MINIATURE CASKET TRINKET BOX ROBERT ALLEN STUDIO RA6561 c1907

A Royal Doulton miniature porcelain casket shaped trinket box decorated in the studio of Robert Allen & bearing the design #RA6561. (Please note that the last figure is very faint but I believe it to be a '1').  The casket measures 3 1/4" long by 2" wide and 2" tall to the top of the finial. The sides of the casket & lid are decorated with pink roses & green leaves; the ends are decorated in a royal blue with a scrolling gold over pattern. The casket is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Fully marked on the base in green with the Royal Doulton backstamp above which is the #RA6561. This # relates to a date of c1907.
