It provides many benefits for animals, you often notice cats and dogs eating grass (lawn/garden) they usually eat this when they are feeling unwell.

They find minerals they need in the grass to help them. Lawn grass can be very coarse and hard to swallow whereas wheatgrass is soft and easy to digest.
