And let's get this straight.. these are NOT Neopixels... "Neopixel" is the house brand/TM of Adafruit for WS3812s. They didn't invent WS3812s, they don't manufacture 3812s, they've just taken World Semi's fabulous product and given it their own name. I might call mine "WonderPixels". Sounds much better.
Remember, Neopixels are WS3812s. NOT the other way around.
