This chassis plate is manufactured in the UK and is made from lightweight aluminium with the words 'AUSTIN MORRIS GROUP BRITISH LEYLAND UK LTD' printed onto it. It has been faithfully reproduced from an original chassis plate and is correct in terms of size, colour and font size.

It locates on the inner bodywork of the car and is held in place by either rivets or screws (depending upon the model ; fixings not included).
