Adafruit HalloWing M0 Express

The Adafruit HalloWing M0 offers everything for your next wearable, badge, cosplay or prop project. This microcontroller board is an ATSAMD21 board in the shape of a skull.

On the front of the board there is a 1.44 "color TFT with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. The example code shows an animated eye, but you can also use the display for other purposes.

The four "teeth" at the bottom of the board can be used as analog / capacitive touch inputs. The holes are big enough to be able to work with alligator clips as well.

The board has the following features:

• ATSAMD21G18 with 48MHz clock and 3.3V operating voltage / logic level, 256KB flash memory + 32KB RAM
• 8 MB SPI flash memory for storing images, sounds, animations, etc.
• 3-axis accelerometer / motion sensor
• Light sensor, directed to the front
• Mono Class-D audio amplifier for 4-8Ω speakers, up to 2W with volume control
• LiPoly connection with integrated charging circuit
• USB port for charging the battery, programming and debugging
• Two socket strips with Feather-compatible pin assignment, so that each FeatherWing can be plugged in
• JST connector for Neopixel, sensors and I2C (compatible with Grove I2C)
• 3.3V voltage regulator with support for max. 500mA peak current
• Reset button
• On / off switch

The HalloWing M0 is similar to the Feather M0 Express and is also based on an ATSAMD21. However, it has a wide variety of components that make it ideal for use in props. With 8MB of additional memory, up to 3 minutes of WAV files can be played. External components can easily be connected without a solder joint using a JST / Grove cable or alligator clips.

Please note that the delivery does not include a battery. The board is delivered fully assembled and tested. With the help of the existing UF2 boot loader, it is easy to change the code and use CircuitPython.
