Wonderful pair of vintage 1970's OMC Japan Bookends with a lot of detail.
Wonderful bookends that tells a story and in excellent condition.
These have to be one of my all time favorite sets of bookends.
The bookends date to around the middle of the century - 1970's or older. They are very detailed and have a true enchanting quality.
These bookends have black rubber on the bottom of the bases to protect your furniture from scratches.
They are very impressive bookends that have a lot of impact, they are high quality and would be lovely supporting children's books.
Makers Mark: Gibson Greeting Cards, Inc on the bottom side base and on the bottom the gold & yellow OMC Japan sticker

INSURANCE:
U.S. Domestic Shipping Insurance is no longer optional and is required on most items, such as antiques, china, porcelain, pottery, glass & crystal items and all items over $50.00 US currency, unless otherwise stated in the listing. Insurance on these items will be included in the U.S. Domestic shipping charges unless otherwise stated. We will not be responsible for packages lost or damaged by the Postal Service or Customs once the package leaves our hands at the post office.
SHIPPING:
We No Longer ship International. We ship Domestic ONLY through the USPS via First Class Mail, Retail Ground & Priority Mail, UPS Ground or FedEx Home Delivery. Depending on the weight of the package your item may be shipped 1st Class Mail. On small items other shipping options may be offered, such as USPS First Class Mail to help keep your costs down. The item(s) will be shipped within 3 Business days of cleared payment, not to include weekends and Holidays. Once a package leaves our hands at the post office we are not responsible for the handling of the package or the length of time it takes to deliver the package.
We personally do not recommend shipping fragile items USPS Domestic Standard Post or Retail Ground or Ground Advantage due to the roughness of the handling by the shipper, but we offer this service due to the buyers preference and cost.
Please allow 5-9 business days delivery on Domestic Standard Post, Retail Ground or Ground Advantage. We can not hurry the Postal Service!
Multiple purchases are packed together and the box is weighed.
Domestic Buyers will pay the exact cost of shipping,
including Insurance and Tracking Information plus a small handling fee.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS:
PLEASE ask all questions prior to purchasing or request additional pictures, if desired . Most of our items are vintage or antiques and have been previously owned by someone else other than ourselves. We do not know if they come from a non-smoking or pet free home. We describe all items in our listings as accurately as possible. We will list any faults and damage to the best of our ability.
MONEY BACK REFUND will only be given if the item is grossly misrepresented and will be for the purchase price of the item only, not to include shipping and handling charges. Please Do Not ask to return the item for a refund unless it is misrepresented in the listing. If there is a problem with your purchase due to the description or damaged in transit, buyer is to email seller within 24 hours of received item(s). If agreed, item(s) must be returned in original condition within 14 days of receipt, with insurance, at the Buyer's expense or the Proof of Insurance receipt will be mailed to you for reimbursement by the shipper.
