Joseph Wilson Lowry (1803- 79) worked as an engraver and map maker for number of London publishers. In 1852 Chapman and Hall published his 'Table Atlas', in which this map appears. This was a comprehensive and up to date atlas of the world.
Page size is 31cm by 23.5cm
Map area is in good condition for age, engravings are clear. Slight browning and foxing.
Blank on the reverse.
