Bone china flowers have been made to decorate pottery since the middle of the 18th century. During Victorian times these bone china flowers became popular as jewelry in particular as a keepsake brooch, stickpin also other items of jewellery including necklaces and earings were decorated with a variety of tiny delicate handmade flowers made by the female workers who were working in the factories assiting the men.
