5 page photo illustrated article from a very rare 1905 Sports periodical the article is entitled 

"How to Make Records on the Road" by G A Olley "who broke the record from London to Edinburgh last year covering 382 miles in 27 hours 10 mins"

Very interesting old photo article with lots of information about the early days of road cycling and how Olley broke the record.

Photos include

G A Olley starting for a record run on the road - the timekeeper is W L Woolveridge RRA & SRRA and the starter is Harry Green himself a road record breaker a few years ago

The author on his bike with description of what he is carrying

A friend preparing refreshment for the rider on the roadside with details of what is being prepared
