Handcrafted European Glass Ornaments created by blowing molten glass into a figural mold, silvering the inside for luminosity and hand painting the exterior with fine detail has been the tradition and unique work of European glassblower crafts people in Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia and Italy since the mid 1800's.

Most glass birds come with annealed hooks for hanging or clips for attaching to a tree limb.  This bird attaches by its unusual wire cable like wrapping.
