You are looking at a premium PROFESSIONAL QUALITY Bottle Opener that with a handle that was hand turned by me. The overall length including the handle is 6". This is a “lifetime” bottle opener that will not need to be replaced every year no matter how many bottles you open with it. I made one of these for our family and it still looks brand new and cuts well after 10 years!

The handle was made by me using Alumilite Resin and Mica Casting Powders. The colors in the handle are Clear, Red, Yellow, White and Blue. All of the items made from this Alumilite Resin including this bottle opener are finished by sanding with normal sand paper to 1000 grit, then to complete the finishing it is sanded again with special sanding/polishing pads that start at 1,500 grit and proceed all of the way to 12,000 grit.  After this it is given a quick buff with a plastic polish to give it a permanent lasting shine. I have been a woodworker for over 20 years, making everything from complete custom cabinetry, to bowls, boxes, and pens on the lathe.  However, due to health issues, I now only turn projects on the lathe in order to give myself something to do for the few hours a day I can stand.
