**Fraudulent alert to recent buyers**
We have received several reports that users are tricked into entering their code either to a discord channel or through a forged website designed to steal the passcode. Never share your passcode to anyone. Always input your passcode directly on to your Japan esShop console first. Sharing the code will allow a third party person to use the code resulting in a used code.
With the release of the Nintendo Switch system, the console is now region free. This means that users (anywhere) are now able to gain access to Japan-specific games and demos.
Users must either sign in or create a separate Japanese eShop account in order to purchase Japanese exclusive games on the Nintendo Switch.
