This is a beautiful estate fresh find - a Carving Set with heavy Sterling Silver Handles. The are Made by Wm B Durgin of Concord New Hampshire. They were a quality manufacturer 1833 - 1905. I touched the blade and it truly IS razor sharp. Bet you could shave with it!
The set comes as seen, with a carving knife , a 2 tine fork with a foot rest by the Sterling Hilt, to keep both pieces off the counter. The knife does show that it was sharpened a and cleaned up with a wheel. Its super clean. Ya cant go wrong with a set like this, maybe a great holiday gift.... Turkey Day is right around the corner! They do have a monogram on the handle and it looks to be the Letter P H A R - actually you could call it almost any letter as it is kinda tough to make it out for sure. Love the big Sterling Silver Handles and Hilts! The other ends are Stainless Steel! On Replacements the Fork alone is 70.00, the knife if ya can find one are over 100.00
