This auction is for a 8 Labat & Pugibet French Empire art nouveau sterling silver tea dessert 5 o'clock spoons with gold bowls. The spoons are in overall excellent condition with very slight signs of use from polishings and use. The gold bowls are in excellent condition on the front side but there is wear on the back.  It doesn't look like the spoons were used very often.  The spoons are not monogrammed. I don't have a scale so I am not able to disclose the weight of the spoons. The spoons are approximately 5 1/4" long (smaller than the regular tea spoon). The spoons have the Labat & Pugibet mark (L & P & is above the L P also with a squiggly symbol in between the L and P in side a diamond). This mark was used from 1877 to 1897 (I had to use a x60 magnifying glass to see the mark, and one of the spoons had a clear punch mark). Also each piece is marked with the Minerva 1 mark which indicates 950 / 1000.  I have not polished the spoons.  They are very beautiful and ready for entertaining.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you want additional pictures. Also please know that this isn't my full time job so if you ask a question it may take me some time to respond. Thank you for looking at my auction.
