Nuno felting is a fabric making technique developed by Polly Stirling, a fiber artist from New South Wales, Australia, around 1992. The name is derived from the Japanese word "nuno" meaning cloth. The technique bonds loose fibre, usually wool, into a sheer fabric such as silk gauze, creating a lightweight felt. 

This unique piece is made of 100% natural fibres, including Australian merino wool, silk and viscose fibres .  This one-off unique design includes abstract floral pattern. Its silk base makes it comfortable and soft for your skin. This gorgeous shawl will keep you warm in the winter and cool int he summer.
