This is a specialty item if ever there was one. This is a super-limited edition "artist's series" case for a 4th Gen iPod classic "click wheel" model from 2004. At the time, the iPod was a relatively new digital music playing device and a lot of small companies popped up to make accessories for it. One of them, the name of which I'll never be able to remember, commissioned a series of limited edition cases from many artists including "lowbrow" and Kustom Kulture star Frank Kozik. This particular design was hand numbered and limited to 100 of which this is # 10 (see pics - each half of the case was numbered on the inside.) It's designed for, and fits perfectly the 4th Gen. iPod from 2004 though it may fit other models as well (I don't know).
It's held in place by some thin pieces of clear plastic tape (you can see them in one of the pics) and this case came with some extras but I've long since misplaced those. But any clear adhesive tape will work to keep this case in place around your iPod. For collectors of vintage iPods and Kozik collectors. Since only 100 of these were made 16 years ago and I imagine most of them were used, abused and then thrown out, I can't imagine any have survived. So if this tickles your fancy, buy it cause you may never see one again.
