The glass covering the diode is made of hardened glass with high scratch resistance and is covered with an anti-reflective coating, which minimizes light loss.
Inside the flashlight there is electronics that control the power consumption. The flashlight always lights in the selected mode with the same power until the battery is depleted. It also protects the diode from overheating!
The switch located at the back of the body - activates the flashlight (full "click") and also turns on the torch (by half 'click') from one of the 3 operating modes in the SOS mode.
