~~~ ANTIQUE " FLOWER ARRANGEMENT " PLATTER ~~~
This is a fabulous reticulated platter, made around 1815 by John & Richard Riley at Burslem.
  The pattern is catalogued as "Flower Arrangement #5" .
  A very distinctive pattern of three large blooms in a Wedgwood Jasper style bowl of the period, in dark blue transfers.
 Features hand-cut reticulation, and a rope twist border, both hand painted, with the transfer in the center.
               The Riley's were active in Staffordshire from 1802-1828, so this is a very old, at least  200 years old, piece.
                                                                                             Measures 10.75" by 8.75".
It is in excellent condition, with some minor crazing and attendant discoloration to the back. No other damage is noted.
Beautiful for blue and white antique decor!!!
