This Cog comes to replace the plastic Cog in the Winglet motor on the front section of the Twin Top roof.

Replacement for all models of Astra Twin Top.

To fit parcel shelf motors, part numbers 93188313 & 93188314 and all newer motors, part numbers 13297951 & 13297952 etc.

If you are looking at this you most likely have a problem with your roof not opening or closing,

so if  the parcel shelf flaps/winglets are sticking or only moving part way then

it's a good chance your original gears/cogs are damaged.

MECHANICS ADVICE
Majority of Mechanics recommend using this Gear because it does not damage any other part while in use unlike hard tough Brass or Metal Cogs

which cause more damage and wear & Tear to the mechanism if things go the wrong way and it ends up costing a fortune

and also they make more noise while in operation.

OUR ADVICE
As a part manufacturer we would also recommend using this Cog as its better than original cog and it will save you money

if it gets worn by only replacing the Cog part on metal shaft, it will save you buying a fresh gear.

Car Manufacturer (Vauxhall/Opel)
We have used the same design pattern as a car manufacturers and also we kept the same weight so that the motor don't have to put much effort

to perform such operation but we are proud to say our quality is better than Car Manufacturers it will not only last long but also save's you money.

Cog Material

The Part is made in Teflon Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)  which is used in commercial industry.

Don't get confused, Teflon is not any cheap type of Plastic and it's not what the car manufactures use. Its far way better than original plastic material

used in Cog by Vauxhall.

The same material is used in Aeroplanes due to its high chemically inert, weather-able, excellent electrical insulation,

high temperature resistance, Light weight, a low coefficient of friction and non-adhesive properties.

INSTRUCTIONS:(the white Teflon cog push-fit onto the shaft as shown in the pictures below)

Please do not forget to put some grease on the cog/gear before you use it.
