Description
This Wonderful Detailed 18k and Sterling Silver Brooch looks to be designed after the ancient Mesoamerica or Pre-Columbian peoples work such as the Maya, Aztec, Mexican cultures. The craftsman used thick 18k GOLD and Sterling Silver to display Ancient Symbols and design elements characteristic of these influences.
The 18k GOLD center symbol contrasts well against the silver and its natural patina. The Octagonal (eight sided) shape of the Brooch overall displays various symbols including Jaguar or cat like figurines on both the top and bottom sharing the same head and coming together from each side.
It has a strong "C" Locking Clasp and the Pin Back is strong and will slide through thick material. You don’t often find pre-Columbian culture inspired Jewelry with the quality displayed in this Piece!
