This is a low relief, self assembly card model kit requiring glue, craft knife,
steel rule and other optional items to cut, build and complete.

This "Industrial Storage Tank" is based on a real tank, which was in use from the 1890's until the 1990's.
Simulated weathering, separate straps and supports, simulated iron girders, accurately represent the original
in fine detail, on this easy to build Series 1 model.

If you want a full 360 degree tank, instead of a low relief one, then full instructions are included
in the kit for attaching two kits together with an invisible join.

All of the strapping and girders are supplied in the kit as separate items, which means that
this kit is very easy to adapt into other types of storage tank, simply by changing the configuration.

The image on the left shows a close-up of the domed top of the tank, with its separate straps supports and bands and gives you a good idea of the level of detail we have included in the kit This kit, provides all the construction materials that you will need to complete the model, including the pre-printed card, girders, and strapping. Detailed printed weathering adds to the quality of the finished model. Fully detailed instructions ensure that the minimum of effort is required to build the model to a very high standard. As can be seen in the photographs of this easy to build "Series 1" model.
