La coupe est ornée d'une large frise sur le pourtour en forme de scène romantique: Pierrot amoureux joue sa bien-aimée Colombina sur la mandaline, et elle l'écoute. Sur le plateau, à gauche de l'espace de tasse, est un beau dessin avec Columbine écoutant Pierrot, tenant une fleur dans sa main, et un couple romantique Pierrot et Columbine à chaque coin. Un millésime rare en très bon état pour son âge! Sur le dos de la tasse et du plateau, il y a un tampon avec une image de Pierrot et Columbine et une inscription en français "PIERROT ET COLOMBINE style Marie Pierre Botard".
