New condition 1991 Olympic Festival Torch. The torch has the 1991 Olympic Festival logo on one side of the bowl and the Varon Thomas signature on the other side. Varon Thomas was the maker and this also appears on the box. The torch appears to be solid aluminum with a granite base. It stands 10-7/8” high and the base has a diameter of 4-5/8”. The diameter of the open receptacle at the top is 1-1/4”. This comes in the original box. The box and torch are both collectible so this will be shipped in another box. I have no other information on the significance of this item other than I have heard that these were presented to officials at the Olympic Festival events. This has been stored in a non-smoking house.
