My special infusion in coconut oil, Tea Tree, Calendula and oregano with clove oil really helps with different fungal issues on the skin.

CALENDULA

Calendula is a antifungal herb that has been used around the world for its special properties. It’s also known as pot marigold, as well as Scottish marigold.

Calendula has been studied extensively, and researchers have found that the herb not only helps to fight fungi, it also has antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

TEA TREE

The essential oil of Melaleuca alternifolia or tea tree oil is widely used as a topical antifungal agent. It contains many components like α-terpineol, terpinen-4-ol, α-pinene, linalool, 1,8-cineole, and β-pinene which have antifungal properties. And studies have shown that this oil is a potent agent against the fungus which causes tinea versicolor. This beneficial oil can be directly applied to affected skin twice a day. However, do a patch test first and if your skin is sensitive to it, dilute it with a carrier oil before application.Tea tree oil has been shown to inhibit the growth of many variations of the candida yeast, as well as protect against fungal skin infections.

CLOVES

If you’ve ever bitten into a clove, you know how strong its taste can be. But cloves are also considered antifungal herbs. They’ve been shown to fight not only candida but also other dangerous microbes, such as staphylococcus, streptococcus, and salmonella.

Oregano is a powerful, plant-derived essential oil that may rival antibiotics when it comes to treating or preventing various infections. In fact, it contains properties that are antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is an effective remedy for any type of fungal infection, including tinea versicolor. The medium-chain fatty acids in coconut oil work as natural fungicides. This means it helps stop the growth of the fungi responsible for the infection.
