A rare, very fine French certified violin bow made by Jean Dominique Adam ca. 1825. This is excellent bow with a wonderful playing characteristics and a superb, high level sound. The bow is in a fine state of preservation, suitable for a demanding musician or a collector. The stick is medium brown pernambuco, round, strong with fine flexibility, good balance and a solo quality sound. The original frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The weight is 59 g and the length of the stick is 73.1 cm. It is in excellent condition,ready to play.
