DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1938 / 1939 Fordson 2 & 3 ton & 6 wheeler truck owner's manual
A vintage Ford owner's manual (instruction book) for the late 1930s English Fordson 2 and 3 ton and 6 wheeler trucks. It is a soft-cover booklet of 69 pages and was published by the Ford Motor Company in Dagenham, England in Dec 1938. It contains general instructions for the operation and care of these Fordson trucks and contains black and white illustrations of the various components of these vehicles.
Condition: This original 1930s Fordson truck owner's manual is in solid original condition showing quite a lot of wear from use. The cover pages show dirty marks, stains, surface wear and heavy scuffs, small tears, creases. There are some small pieces missing from the corner of the cover pages. The stapled binding is still OK with the exception of the middle pages which are loose from the staples. The inside pages show some creases, stains, edge wear and dirty marks. There is some writing on a couple of the inside pages and a few of the pages have small pieces missing from the edges. Measures approx 7 by 4 1/2 inches in size.
