Up for sale is one of the rarest Saint Laurent pieces in my collection.  It is the signature double breasted peak lapel coat from Fall/Winter 2013 in a very exclusive Chanel inspired tweed fabric woven from bouclĂ© yarn.  The outer composition is 60% virgin wool, 30% llama hair, 6% polyamide, and 4% mohair.  The lining is 100% silk.  Without a doubt this is one of the most luxurious fabrics I have ever seen used for a ready to wear piece.  This coat is simply stunning and probably the only menswear equivalent of a Chanel jacket!  The same design of double breasted coat from Hedi's Celine collection is retailing between $4,600 and $5,100 depending on fabric and they are nowhere near the caliber exhibited here.  It is tagged a size 44 and in my experience the sizing from the early collections was without a doubt the slimmest, perfect for a true runway fit.  The condition is mint, I purchased this on release and it has been stored in a cedar closet since.  I cut the tags, but they are included in the sale along with the spare buttons, the hanger, and garment bag.  Please let me know if you have any questions and don't forget to take a look at my other auctions for rare designer items.
