 Heart shaped silver casing, approximately 1.5 inch high . 

Velvet covering to the box. 

Originally Royal; blue, the pin cushion lid has now lost its colour but retained much of the original texture and all the shape and firmness. ( if you want the lid blue, that is easily done with shoe dye but its best left to the customer to decide.) 

The interior is original. It has retained colour . The silk on the lid is beginning to shred. .
