This is a gorgeous antique French bench, Louis 16th style , with timeworn gilt wood and original antique cane / canné seat, late 1890's

Beautifully worked with hand-engraved wood and a support brace / entretoise between feet

Measuring  around 40"L x 13.75"W x 20"H (101cm L x 35cm l x 51cm H)

Antique with wear to the wood guilding and a small area missing in the canné weave, all shown on y pictures and commensurate with age and use.
