Van Damme use ultra pure oxygen free copper within their cable, silver plating is added to the inner cores that carry the signal. The silver gives a sparkle of brightness to the sound quality and having ultra-pure copper this ensures the signal is transferred without degradation to give high quality sound.
Cable Length Important
PLEASE MEASURE UP CAREFULLY TO AVOID ERRORS
Leads 1m or less (patch leads) will be measured visible cable from the rear black boot of the connector. We add 100mm of cable to compensate for the connectors.
Leads over 1m will be measured cut length of cable. The connectors use up 100mm of cable.
When choosing a cable check the specifications out you will find this cable is much better over others. More copper screening. Capacitance is lower which gives better sound. Spiral copper coverage is better.
Neutrik connectors are used by nearly all hire PA companies, they are extremely robust. The Jack plug is made from brass and plated silver. The female Jack is a locking Jack socket and can be released by pushing on the red latch. The mechanism works really well with other Jacks that conform with IEC standards, these are measurements that are used in the design of all Neutrik connectors and other makes that follow the standards.
