The perfect complement to a 35mm SLR camera, this high-quality film scanner combines Nikon's Scanner Nikkor ED glass lens with an LED light source for incredible, consistent color and sharpness.
Scanners are prone to gather dust around the optics so to guarantee a sharp scan regular maintenance is required. Most of the 2nd hand units have not been regularly maintained and cleaned internally and the quality of the scans is very low. We guaranteed the best scans with this particular unit as is been cleaned and refurbished to close to new condition.
The sale is for the scanner only, you need a regular power cable and a regular firewire cable to plug it into the computer and appropriate software

For the most recent operating systems this scanner works best with Vuescan or Silverfast software packages, more developed and updated than the outdated Nikon Scan.
