We have an early Brameld Pottery, Staffordshire blue and white transfer plate in the "Castle of Rochefort, South of France" pattern, which is considered by many to be the best they ever produced.  They later turned into Rockingham Pottery.  Brameld became famous for producing a large exquisite dessert service commissioned for King William IV.  It took eight years to complete and was eventually delivered to Queen Victoria and now resides at Windsor Castle.  This plate is just magnificent.  It features a romantic scene of a fisherman and his love on the banks of a river, with a waterfall, a tower, a bridge and a mountain in the background with a lovely tree shadowing them.  It is in almost perfect condition.  Minor crazing on the back, a few slight utensil marks, no cracks, no chips, no hairlines .... just beautiful ..............  It measures 9.75.  I know you will treasure this one !
